Vemundvik er en tidligere kommune i den gamle Nord-Trøndelag fylke, Norge. Den 247 kvadratkilometer store kommune eksisterede fra 1838 indtil sin opløsning i 1964. I 1964 svarede kommunen groft sagt til de fastlandsområder nord for Namsen-floden i hvad der nu er kommunen Namsos i Trøndelag fylke. Fra 1838 indtil cirka 1942 var det administrative centrum landsbyen Vemundvik, hvor Vemundvik Kirke ligger. Efter 1941 var kommunekontorerne og administrationen centrum i byen Namsos.
Vemundvik kommune blev etableret den 1. januar 1838. I 1846 blev landsbyen Namsos erklæret for at være et ladested, hvilket betød, at det blev adskilt fra Vemundvik kommune. Den nye by havde 591 indbyggere, og resten af Vemundvik blev kaldt Namsos herred eller Namsos landdistrikt, og det havde 908 indbyggere efter delingen.
