Kilb ist eine Marktgemeinde im Bezirk Melk im niederösterreichischen Mostviertel mit 2580 Einwohnern .Kilb liegt im Hügelland des Alpenvorlandes an der Sierning, die hier entspringt, sowie an der Bundesstraße 29 Manker Straße B 29. Etwa 26 Prozent der Fläche der Gemeinde ist bewaldet.
