Schladming ist eine Stadtgemeinde im Bereich der Expositur Gröbming, Bezirk Liezen in der Steiermark . Sie ist mit 6.538 Einwohnern die größte Kommune in der Expositur Gröbming und die zweitgrößte Stadt des Bezirkes. Schladming, ein wichtiger Wintersportort, war Austragungsort der Alpinen Skiweltmeisterschaften 1982 und 2013 sowie der Special Olympics in den Wintern 1993 und 2017.
