ZOO Planckendael ist ein belgischer Zoo in Muizen, einem Stadtteil von Mechelen. Er gehört zur Königlichen Gesellschaft für Zoologie Antwerpen, zu der unter anderem auch der Zoo Antwerpen und das Reservat De Zegge in Geel gehören. Planckendael ist ein „Landschaftszoo“ und folgt einer kontinentalen Einteilung mit einer thematisierten Gestaltung und einem natürlichen Charakter. Ein auffälliges Merkmal von ZOO Planckendael sind die offenen Räume im Park: einige Teile des Gebiets bleiben unberührt, sodass man das ganze Jahr über wilde Blumen und Pflanzen finden kann.
