Lembeke ist vor allem bekannt für die Lembeek-Wälder, die 50 Hektar umfassen und hauptsächlich aus angepflanztem Nadelholz bestehen. Die Heide-Reste, die man in der Krautschicht findet, weisen auf die frühere Wastine hin: eine Mischung aus Wiesen, Heide, Strauchwerk und Wald. Heutzutage werden wieder Laubbäume gepflanzt. Die Wälder bieten einen Ort der Ruhe, Sport oder Spiel und gehören der Flämischen Gesellschaft für Wasserversorgung.
