Tongerlo ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Limburg und ein Stadtteil von Bree. Es war bis zur Fusion 1971 eine selbständige Gemeinde, wurde dann der Gemeinde Opitter hinzugefügt, die ihrerseits 1977 in die Gemeinde Bree eingegliedert wurde.
Tongerlo liegt im Südosten der Fusionsgemeinde. Der Zuid-Willemsvaart bildet die Westgrenze des Stadtteils. Tongerlo entwickelt sich allmählich von einem landwirtschaftlichen Dorf des Kempen zu einem Wohnort. Besonders im Norden des Stadtteils gibt es noch einige landwirtschaftliche Betriebe. Der Itterbeek, entlang dessen mehrere Wassermühlen liegen, fließt durch den Dorfkern.
