Zandvliet ist ein belgisches Dorf, das Teil des antwerpenen Bezirks Berendrecht-Zandvliet-Lillo ist. Zandvliet war bis 1958 eine eigenständige Gemeinde. Die Eindeichung der Scheldepolder ist seit 1037 dokumentiert. 1119 wurde der Zoutendijk fertiggestellt. 1245 wurde die Noordlandpolder eingedeicht. Von 1285 bis 1416 folgten die Nieuwlandpolder, die Polder von Berendrecht und die Polder von Zandvliet. 1768 wurde auch die Kabeljauwpolder eingedeicht.
