Chokier ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Lüttich, das zur Gemeinde Flémalle gehört und Teil der Teilgemeinde Flémalle-Haute ist. Es war bis zum 26. März 1969 eine selbstständige Gemeinde, als es Teil von Flémalle Haute wurde. Chokier liegt am linken Ufer der Maas. Chokier gehörte historisch zur Herrlichkeit Awirs, wurde jedoch im 12. Jahrhundert von den Herren von Awirs an die Abtei von Aywières verkauft, einer Zisterzienserabtei, und wurde zu einer separaten Herrlichkeit. Die Abtei besaß bis 1796 die Ferme d'Othet, die etwa einhundert Hektar bewirtschaftete. Die Herrlichkeit Chokier gehörte nacheinander den Familien De Hozémont, Surlet und Berio. Ab dem Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts wurde dort Alaun abgebaut.
