Das einzige Rathaus der Welt, durch das die Grenze verläuft, ist das Rathaus von Baarle-Hertog. Ledlichter an der Fassade und im Ratssaal zeigen, wie die Grenze genau eine Ecke des Gebäudes schneidet. Für dieses Stück des Rathauses (nur 53 m²) war sogar eine separate niederländische Genehmigung erforderlich!
