Edelare ist ein Dorf in den Flämischen Ardennen, in der belgischen Provinz Oost-Vlaanderen. Seit 1964 ist es ein Teilgemeinde von Oudenaarde.
Edelare liegt an den Hängen des Edelarebergs, südlich von Oudenaarde, und wird von der N8 in Richtung Brakel durchquert. Vermutlich existierte dieser Abschnitt bereits zur Zeit des Römischen Reiches. Das Dorf hat knapp 1000 Einwohner.
