Izel ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Luxemburg und eine Ortschaft von Chiny. Izel liegt an der Semois in der Gaume. In der Ortschaft liegt auch der Weiler Moyen, am gegenüberliegenden Ufer der Semois.
Am Ende des Ancien Régime wurde Izel eine Gemeinde. Im Jahr 1823 wurden bei kommunalen Neugliederungen in Luxemburg viele kleine Gemeinden zusammengeschlossen, und die Nachbargemeinde Moyen wurde Izel angegliedert.
