Ambresin ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Lüttich und ein Stadtteil von Wasseiges. Ambresin hat eine Fläche von 6,20 km² und zählt 582 Einwohner. Bis zum 1. Januar 1977 war es eine selbständige Gemeinde. Ambresin war bereits früh besiedelt. Im Norden der heutigen Gemeinde lag nämlich die römische Heerstraße Tongeren-Bavay. In der Nähe sind zwei Tumuli erhalten geblieben: die Tumuli du Soleil. An den Ufern der Mehaigne wurden die Überreste einer römischen Villa gefunden.
