"Das Burreken" ist ein Naturschutzgebiet an der Grenze von Maarkedal (Schorisse), Horebeke und Brakel (Zegelsem). Natuurpunt ist der Eigentümer dieses Naturschutzgebiets, das aus drei schmalen Talzonen besteht und von einer landschaftlich wertvollen landwirtschaftlichen Fläche umgeben ist. Es ist eines der schönsten Ecken der Flämischen Ardennen. Das Reservat ist über Perreveld in Brakel zugänglich.
