Diese 240 Jahre alte Buche ist mit einem Umfang von 5m10 die dickste Buche im Meerdaalwald. Jedes Jahr nimmt der Umfang dieses Baumes um etwa drei Zentimeter zu. Zum Vergleich: die dickste Eiche im Meerdaalwald hat im Jahr 2012 einen Umfang von 5m60. Der Baumumfang wird übrigens in einer Höhe von 1,50 Metern gemessen.
