Die Sint-Aldegondiskirche ist die ehemalige Pfarrkirche von As. Sie befindet sich am Kerkpad. Die Kirche und der umliegende, ummauerte Friedhof sind ein geschütztes Denkmal.
Vermutlich stand an der Stelle der heutigen Sint-Aldegondiskirche eine einschiffige Holzkapelle aus dem 8. Jahrhundert. In den Jahren 1973-1974 wurden vor der Restaurierung der heutigen Kirche Ausgrabungen durchgeführt, aus denen hervorging, dass die gotische Sint-Aldegondiskirche einen romanischen Vorgänger hatte: eine rechteckige Saalkirche von 7 auf 13 Metern, gebaut mit Kieselschotter.
