Das Café gehört dem Papa und der Schwester des ehemaligen Gentner Radstars Iljo Keisse, und zahlreiche Fotos belegen das auch. Mit Geschäftsführer Ronie hast du sicher den bestinformierten Radsport-Cafée-Besitzer Flanderns. Der Karper liegt an einer belebten Kreuzung, draußen sitzen ist ausgeschlossen. Es gibt auch keinen Fahrradabstellplatz, aber wenn die Gruppe nicht zu groß ist, dürfen die Fahrräder mit rein, und die Betreiber bieten auch ein großes Kabel mit Schloss an. Und wer mal etwas anderes möchte: spiel eine Runde Darts. Es gibt ausreichend große Toiletten.
