Die Belliardstraße ist hier auffallend schmal (und ruhig), da der Tunnel nach Leuven den Großteil des Verkehrs aufnimmt. Der Platz selbst liegt an der Etterbeekser Steenweg, die parallel zur Maalbeek die ehemaligen Dorfkerne von Elsene, Etterbeek und Sint-Joost verbindet. Jahre lang war dieser Platz eine permanente Baustelle. Aber in den letzten Jahren ist es hier aufgrund der vielen neuen Wohnungen, der Gastronomie und Geschäfte angenehm geworden. An der ganz rechten Ecke fällt das große Café-Restaurant Grand Central auf, bekannt für seine internationale Atmosphäre. Vom ersten Stock hat man einen schönen Blick.
