Ten Huize Planckaert ist ein B&B mit Chalets in Bure.

Eddy Planckaert war in den Achtzigern ein erfolgreicher Radrennfahrer. Nach seiner Radsportkarriere gründete er ein Sägewerk in Litauen und Polen. Dies war kein Erfolg und er zog sich in die Ardennen zurück, wo die Familie für eine Reality-Soap verfolgt wurde.

Am 25. September 2015 stellte er in Rochefort auf einem Holzfahrrad den Stundenweltrekord auf. Er radelte 11 Kilometer, 932 Meter und 94 Zentimeter. Dieser Rekord wird jedoch von der UCI nicht anerkannt.
