Embrach, im Ortsdialekt Ämbri [æmbri], 1809–1931 offiziell Unterembrach, ist eine politische Gemeinde, die zum Bezirk Bülach des schweizerischen Kantons Zürich gehört.
Bis in die Mitte des 16 Jh. bestehen Siegel mit Petrusabbildungen. Die heutigen Petrus-Schlüssel sind also eine Anlehnung an diese Tradition. Der Wechsel zum weltlichen Symbol erfolgte wegen der Reformation .
