Aarwangen ist eine politische Gemeinde im Verwaltungskreis Oberaargau des Kantons Bern in der Schweiz.
Aarwangen liegt im Oberaargau im Schweizer Mittelland an beiden Aareufern, wobei der weitaus grösste Teil der Gemeinde auf das südliche Ufer entfällt. Die Siedlungsstruktur besteht aus der Ortschaft Aarwangen mit den Quartieren Bleuerain, Riedgass, Hard, Farnere, Hof und Mumenthal sowie dem Weiler Meiniswil. Am nördlichen Aareufer liegt im Ortsteil Schürhof ein kleiner Brückenkopf auf Aarwanger Gebiet. Südlich der Brücke steht das Schloss Aarwangen.
