Beringen ist eine politische Gemeinde des Kantons Schaffhausen in der Schweiz. Am 1. Januar 2013 fusionierte Guntmadingen mit Beringen.
Beringen liegt im landwirtschaftlich geprägten Klettgau, am Fuss des Randen. Es grenzt im Nordosten an Schaffhausen, im Südosten an Neuhausen am Rheinfall, im Süden an Jestetten und im Westen an Siblingen, Löhningen und Neunkirch. Im Eschheimertal, nahe dem Beringer Randenturm, liegt der geografische Mittelpunkt des Kantons Schaffhausen.
