Grandson ist eine politische Gemeinde im Distrikt Jura-Nord vaudois des Kantons Waadt in der Schweiz. Der frühere deutsche Name Gransee wird heute nicht mehr verwendet.
Grandson liegt auf 447 m ü. M., 3 km nördlich der Bezirkshauptstadt Yverdon-les-Bains . Das historische Städtchen erstreckt sich leicht erhöht an einem Moränenhügel über dem Westufer des Neuenburgersees, nahe der Mündung des Baches Grandsonnet, am Jurasüdfuss und im nördlichen Teil des Waadtländer Mittellandes.
