Pfäffikon SZ ist der Hauptort der politischen Gemeinde Freienbach im Kanton Schwyz in der Schweiz. Pfäffikon ist zusammen mit Wollerau jeweils alternierend für zwei Jahre Hauptort des Bezirks Höfe und gilt als Zentrum der Region Ausserschwyz.
Pfäffikon liegt in der Metropolregion Zürich und wird mit Rapperswil-Jona einer der Mittelpunkte in der Agglomeration Obersee bilden. Das frühere Bauerndorf ist heute als Dienstleistungs-, Bildungs-, Kultur-, Freizeit- und Wirtschaftszentrum bekannt. Mit rund 7300 Einwohnern ist Pfäffikon einer der grösseren Orte des Kantons.
