Roßdorf ist eine Gemeinde mit über 12.000 Einwohnern im südhessischen Landkreis Darmstadt-Dieburg.
Die Gemeinde Roßdorf besteht aus den beiden Ortsteilen Gundernhausen und Roßdorf und liegt etwa acht Kilometer südöstlich von Darmstadt. Sie grenzt im Norden und Osten an die Gemeinde Groß-Zimmern, im Südosten an die Stadt Reinheim, im Süden an die Stadt Ober-Ramstadt und im Westen an die kreisfreie Stadt Darmstadt. Vom Gipfelkreuz des Rehbergs hat man eine weite Aussicht in Richtung Aschaffenburg und Frankfurt.
