Ankershagen ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern am Nordrand des Müritz-Nationalparks.
Die Gemeinde wird vom Amt Penzliner Land mit Sitz in der Stadt Penzlin verwaltet. Seit dem 25. Juli 2010 trägt der Ort die offizielle Bezeichnung „Schliemanngemeinde Ankershagen“.
