Jänschwalde, niedersorbisch Janšojce, ist eine offiziell zweisprachige Gemeinde im Landkreis Spree-Neiße in Brandenburg im Osten Deutschlands. Sie ist amtsangehörige Gemeinde des Amtes Peitz. Bekannt ist Jänschwalde durch den gleichnamigen Braunkohletagebau sowie das nahegelegene Kraftwerk Jänschwalde.
Die Gemeinde gehört zur Niederlausitz. Die nächste Kleinstadt ist Peitz, Cottbus ist 25 Kilometer entfernt. Einen größeren Teil der Gemeindefläche nimmt der Braunkohletagebau Jänschwalde ein, der im Osten bis zur Neiße und damit an die Grenze zu Polen reicht. Die Südgrenze des Ortes bildet die Malxe.
