Nidda ist eine Stadt im hessischen Wetteraukreis im Naturraum Unterer Vogelsberg. Ihren Namen verdankt sie dem Fluss Nidda.
Nidda grenzt im Norden an die Stadt Laubach , im Osten an die Stadt Schotten und die Gemeinde Hirzenhain, im Süden an die Stadt Ortenberg und die Gemeinde Ranstadt, im Südwesten an die Gemeinde Echzell sowie im Westen an die Gemeinde Wölfersheim und die Stadt Hungen .
