Fürth ist eine Gemeinde im südhessischen Kreis Bergstraße. Sie ist staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort und Sitz eines Amtsgerichts.
Das Gemeindegebiet von Fürth liegt im Vorderen Odenwald im Oberen Weschnitztal. Die Kerngemeinde und einige weitere Ortsteile liegen direkt an der Weschnitz, die südwestlich nach Weinheim fließt und bei Biblis in den Rhein mündet. Andere Ortsteile liegen oberhalb des Talgrundes und in Seitentälern. Die Landschaft ist Teil des Geo-Naturpark Bergstraße-Odenwald. Der Ortsname rührt wohl von einer einstigen Furt durch die Weschnitz her. Höchste Erhebung ist der 536 Meter hohe Wagenberg an der südöstlichen Gemeindegrenze, der nördliche Endpunkt des Höhenzuges, der sich nach Süden bis hinter die Tromm hinzieht und das Weschnitztal von der Region Überwald trennt.
