Seligenstadt ist eine Stadt im Landkreis Offenbach in Hessen. Sie liegt am Main und war in karolingischer Zeit von großer Bedeutung. Seligenstadt trägt seit dem 6. Februar 2020 die amtliche Zusatzbezeichnung Einhardstadt.
Seligenstadt ist eine von 13 Städten und Gemeinden im Landkreis Offenbach. Die Stadt liegt im Osten des Kreises etwa 25 km südöstlich von Frankfurt am Main am linken südwestlichen Ufer einer rechtswendenden Mainschleife. Der Fluss bildet hier die Grenze zu Bayern. Die Gemarkung Seligenstadt umfasst mit 2043 Hektar rund zwei Drittel des Stadtgebietes, davon sind 1026 Hektar bewaldet . Der größte Teil der Waldungen liegt im Südwesten des Stadtgebietes, wo das Geländeniveau allmählich von der 108 Meter hoch gelegenen Mainniederung auf bis zu 145 Meter am Walddistrikt Kieselhecke ansteigt.
