Eschershausen ist eine Landstadt im Norden des Landkreises Holzminden in Niedersachsen, Deutschland und Mitgliedsgemeinde der Samtgemeinde Eschershausen-Stadtoldendorf. Nach dem dort geborenen Schriftsteller Wilhelm Raabe wird sie auch Raabestadt genannt.
Die bis 480 m hohen waldreichen Mittelgebirgszüge Ith, Vogler, Hils, Homburgwald und Elfas umgeben Eschershausen, das somit inmitten des Weserberglands liegt.
