Neustadt an der Weinstraße, bis 1936 und von 1945 bis 1950 Neustadt an der Haardt, ist eine kreisfreie Stadt in Rheinland-Pfalz und Teil der Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar. Sie gehört zu den zehn größten Städten des Bundeslandes. Die Stadt in der Pfalz an der Deutschen Weinstraße ist eines der Zentren des deutschen Weinbaus und veranstaltet jährlich das Deutsche Weinlesefest, bei dem in der Regel die Deutsche Weinkönigin gewählt wird. Bekannt ist Neustadt außerdem durch das im Stadtgebiet gelegene Hambacher Schloss, dem Schauplatz des Hambacher Festes, der deutschen Demokratiebewegung im Jahr 1832.
