Der Bahnhof Brandenburger Tor ist ein Tunnelbahnhof der Berliner S-Bahn und befindet sich nahe dem Brandenburger Tor. Mit Eröffnung der damaligen U-Bahn-Linie U55 am 8. August 2009 wurde dort ein Umsteigebahnhof zur U-Bahn eröffnet und der S-Bahnhof in Brandenburger Tor umbenannt.
Der S-Bahnhof wurde am 27. Juli 1936 als vorläufige Endstation des Nord-Süd-Tunnels als Station Unter den Linden eröffnet, die Aufnahme des Planverkehrs erfolgte am darauffolgenden Tag, die Fortführung der Strecke in Richtung Potsdamer Platz drei Jahre später. Grund war auch, dass am 20. August 1935 beim Bau die Bauwände auf 50 Meter einbrachen und 19 Arbeiter begruben.
