Die Höllentalbahn ist eine Eisenbahnstrecke im Schwarzwald von Freiburg im Breisgau durch das Höllental nach Donaueschingen. Die Strecke steigt dabei von 268 m ü. NN in Freiburg auf 885 m ü. NN in Hinterzarten bei einer Streckenlänge von 25,5 Kilometern. Die größtenteils eingleisige und als Hauptbahn klassifizierte Strecke weist im Abschnitt Himmelreich–Hinterzarten Steigungen bis 57,14 ‰ auf. Damit ist sie die steilste Hauptbahn Deutschlands.
