Das Fürstentum Lippe war ein deutsches Fürstentum. Es entstand 1789 durch Erhebung der Grafschaft Lippe zum Reichsfürstentum.
Zunächst war das Fürstentum Lippe ein zum Niederrheinisch-Westfälischen Reichskreis zählendes Territorium im Heiligen Römischen Reich. Es überdauerte das Ende des Reiches für kurze Zeit im Rheinbund, bestand im 19. Jahrhundert im Deutschen Bund und im Deutschen Reich fort und wurde 1919 in den Freistaat Lippe umgewandelt.
