Die Gerry Weber Open 2000 waren die 8. Ausgabe des Tennis-Rasenturniers im Gerry-Weber-Stadion in Halle. Das Turnier war als Turnier der International Series Teil der männlichen ATP-Serie. Es fand zusammen mit den Stella Artois Grass Championships in London vom 12. bis 18. Juni 2000 statt. Beide Turniere galten als Vorbereitungsturniere für die Wimbledon Championships. Das Preisgeld betrug sowohl für Einzel- als auch für Doppelturnier 975.000 $. Im Einzel traten 32 Spieler gegeneinander an, im Doppel waren es 16 Paarungen.
Titelverteidiger im Einzel war der Deutsche Nicolas Kiefer, der in diesem Jahr an Position zwei gesetzt im Viertelfinale ausschied. Stattdessen gewann sein Landsmann David Prinosil den dritten und letzten Einzeltitel seiner Karriere und den ersten in der Saison 2000. Er kam über eine Wild Card ins Turnier.
