Die Burgruine Drachenfels im Siebengebirge ist der Rest einer Höhenburg auf 321 m ü. NN, die 1138 vom Kölner Erzbischof Arnold I. begonnen und 1149 von Gerhard von Are, dem Propst des Bonner St.-Cassius-Stiftes, gekauft und fertiggestellt wurde. Sie steht auf dem gleichnamigen Berg Drachenfels.
