Die Glyptothek () im Kunstareal München ist ein unter Ludwig I. errichtetes Museum für die Sammlung antiker Skulpturen und wurde von 1816 bis 1830 nach Plänen Leo von Klenzes am Königsplatz in München errichtet.
Nur ein Teil der Sammlung stammt aus dem alten Besitz der Wittelsbacher, ein Großteil geht auf die Sammelaktivität Ludwigs I. zurück. Hauptwerke der Sammlung sind vor allem der Barberinische Faun, die sogenannte Trunkene Alte, der Knabe mit der Gans, die Eirene mit dem Ploutosknaben und die 1813 erworbenen wertvollen Giebelfiguren vom Aphaia-Tempel in Ägina, die so genannten Ägineten sowie die beiden Kouroi, der Münchner Kouros und der Kouros von Tenea.
