El Toro ist eine spanische Gemeinde in der Provinz Castellón, in der Gemeinschaft Valencia. Sie liegt in der Region Alto Palancia.
Das Gemeindegebiet, das zweitgrößte der Region, umfasst zwei unterschiedliche Räume. Ein Teil des Gebiets liegt im Hochland, das die Gemeinden El Toro und Barracas an ihrer Mündung bildet, und hat eine Höhe von etwa eintausend Metern, was eine Verlängerung der Hochebenen im Süden von Teruel darstellt. Der andere Teil des Gebiets liegt in dem als Sierra de El Toro bekannten Gebirge, das sich als Verlängerung des Javalambre-Gebirges darstellt. Dieses Gebirge weist hohe Höhen auf, wobei einige seiner Berge über 1600 m liegen, sodass es einer der kältesten Punkte in der Gemeinschaft Valencia ist.
