Agüimes ist eine Gemeinde auf der Kanarischen Insel Gran Canaria. Sie hat 31.619 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 79,28 km². Es ist zu unterscheiden zwischen dem Municipio Agüimes und dem Ort Agüimes. Dieser Artikel bezieht sich auf das Municipio.
Das Gemeindegebiet erstreckt im Osten der Insel zwischen Ingenio im Norden und Santa Lucía de Tirajana im Süden von der Küste bis ins Innere der Insel, wo es an der westlichen Spitze die Grenzen von San Bartolomé de Tirajana und Valsequillo berührt.
