Die Taifa von Tortosa war ein muslimischer mittelalterlicher Staat auf der Iberischen Halbinsel. Ihre Hauptstadt war die Stadt Turtusha, die nahe der Mündung des Ebro-Deltas liegt. Ihr Erscheinen erfolgt mit dem Verschwinden des Kalifats von Córdoba, aus der bestehenden Cora.
Tortosa wurde 714 von den Muslimen besetzt. Ursprünglich, um 1031, hatte die Macht der Taifa in den Händen des Amiriten Labib Al'Amiri Al-Fatá gelegen. 1061 kam sie unter die Herrschaft von Al-Muqtadir, dem König der Taifa von Saraqusta, und wurde später von Al-Mundir Imad ad-Dawla, dem Emir der Taifa von Játiva, regiert. Im 12. Jahrhundert ging sie in die Hände der Almoraviden über. Die Stadt wurde 1148 von Ramón Berenguer IV. von Barcelona eingenommen.[1]
