Umgeben wird Compreignac von den Nachbargemeinden Razès im Nordosten, Saint-Sylvestre im Osten, Bonnac-la-Côte im Süden, Saint-Jouvent im Südwesten, Thouron im Westen sowie Saint-Pardoux-le-Lac mit Saint-Symphorien-sur-Couze im Nordwesten und Saint-Pardoux im Norden.
