Chermignac ist eine Gemeinde im Westen Frankreichs mit 1263 Einwohnern und gehört zum Département Charente-Maritime in der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine.Der Ort liegt in der Saintonge etwa acht Kilometer südwestlich von Saintes bzw. etwa 35 Kilometer westlich von Cognac. Die Nachbargemeinden Rioux und Rétaud mit ihren eindrucksvollen Prioratskirchen liegen nur etwa sieben Kilometer westlich bzw. südwestlich.
