Umgeben wird La Ferrière-en-Parthenay von den Nachbargemeinden Oroux im Norden, Thénezay im Norden und Nordosten, Chalandry im Osten, Vasles im Südosten, Saint-Martin-du-Fouilloux im Süden und Südwesten, Saurais im Südwesten sowie La Peyratte im Westen.
