Saint-Léger-Vauban ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 354 Einwohnern im Arrondissement Avallon, im Département Yonne und in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Die Gemeinde liegt im Regionalen Naturpark Morvan . Es ist der Geburtsort des Architekten Sébastien le Prestre de Vauban, der im 17. Jh. Festungsbauer des französischen Königs Ludwig XIV. war. Zu seinen Ehren wurde der ursprüngliche Ortsname Saint-Léger-Foucheret 1867 umbenannt in Saint-Léger-Vauban. In den Wäldern von Morvan befindet sich die Benediktiner-Abtei Sainte Marie de la Pierre-qui-Vire, die erst 1850 gegründet worden ist.
