Arinthod ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 1094 Einwohnern im Département Jura in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Sie gehört zumKanton Moirans-en-Montagne und zum Kommunalverband Terre d’Émeraude Communauté.Arinthod liegt im Südwesten des Départements Jura, 90 Kilometer nordöstlich von Lyon, etwa 50 Kilometer nordwestlich von Genf und 17 Kilometer nordwestlich von Oyonnax, zwischen den Nachbargemeinden Chisséria im Süden, Dramelay im Nordwesten und Cézia im Osten. Die Valouse fließt westlich des Ortskerns durch das Gemeindegebiet. Etwa 41,65 % des Gemeindegebiets sind bewaldet. Die Weiler Vogna und Néglia gehören zur Gemeinde.
