Die Einwohner werden Croquands bzw. Busignois genannt.Busigny liegt an der Grenze zum Département Aisne. Umgeben wird Busigny von den Nachbargemeinden Maurois im Norden und Nordwesten, Honnechy im Norden, Saint-Souplet im Nordosten, Molain im Osten, Vaux-Andigny im Südosten, Becquigny im Süden, Prémont im Südwesten sowie Maretz im Westen.
