Umgeben wird Esvres von den Nachbargemeinden Larçay im Norden, Véretz und Azay-sur-Cher im Nordosten, Truyes im Osten, Cormery im Südosten, Saint-Branchs im Süden, Veigné im Westen und Chambray-lès-Tours im Nordwesten.
