Messac ist eine Ortschaft und eine Commune déléguée in der französischen Gemeinde Guipry-Messac mit 3.204 Einwohnern im Département Ille-et-Vilaine in der Region Bretagne. Die Einwohner werden Messacois genannt.Messac liegt etwa 32 Kilometer südsüdwestlich von Rennes am östlichen Ufer des Flusses Vilaine. Umgeben wird Messac von den Nachbarorten Saint-Malo-de-Phily im Norden, Pléchâtel im Nordosten, Bain-de-Bretagne im Osten, La Noë-Blanche im Osten und Südosten, Sainte-Anne-sur-Vilaine im Süden, Langon im Südwesten sowie Guipry im Westen.Durch die Gemeinde führt die frühere Route nationale 772. Der Ort hat einen Bahnhof „Messac-Guipry“ an der Bahnstrecke Rennes–Redon.
