Umgeben wird Fresnoy-le-Grand von den Nachbargemeinden Brancourt-le-Grand im Norden und Nordwesten, Bohain-en-Vermandois im Norden und Nordosten, Seboncourt im Osten, Étaves-et-Bocquiaux im Südosten, Croix-Fonsomme im Süden und Südwesten sowie Montbrehain im Westen.
