Saint-Waast ist eine Gemeinde im Norden Frankreichs. Sie gehört zur Region Hauts-de-France, zum Département Nord, zum Arrondissement Avesnes-sur-Helpe und zum Kanton Aulnoye-Aymeries. Die Bewohner nennen sich Védastiens oder Védastiennes.
Teile des Naturschutzgebietes Carrière des Nerviens liegen in Saint-Waast und dem südöstlich gelegenen Bavay. Die weiteren Nachbargemeinden sind La Flamengrie und Bettrechies im Nordwesten, Bellignies und Houdain-lez-Bavay im Nordosten, Bermeries im Süden, Preux-au-Sart im Südwesten und Wargnies-le-Petit im Westen.
